Pension Sonneck is located in Pfarrwerfen, Salzburg , about 50 km south of the state capital and Mozart's city, and is easily accessible via the Tauern Autobahn. In the immediate vicinity of St. Johann in Salzburg, you will find a varied excursion program, various sports facilities, and of course, Snow Space Salzburg, part of the Skiworldamadé region – with over 760 kilometers of slopes and 270 modern ski lifts.

HOW TO GET TO PENSION SONNECK IN PFARRWERFEN
Thanks to our direct connection to the motorway and an hourly train connection from Salzburg Central Station and Salzburg Airport, we are easy and quick to reach.
By car
From Salzburg – A10 Tauern motorway – exit Werfen – to the junction Imlau – Pfarrwerfen, then towards Werfenweng, after about 1 km on the left side you will arrive at Pension Sonneck.
From Vienna – A1 Westautobahn towards Linz, St. Pölten, Pressbaum – at the Salzburg junction change from the A1 to the A10 towards Graz, Villach – A10 at the Werfen motorway exit – to the Imlau – Pfarrwerfen junction, then towards Werfenweng, after approx. 1 km you will arrive at Pension Sonneck on the left.
From Munich – A8 towards Salzburg – change from the A8 to the A1 – leave the A1 at the Salzburg junction and change to the A10 towards Graz, Villach – A10 at the Werfen motorway exit – to the Imlau – Pfarrwerfen junction, then towards Werfenweng, after approx. 1 km you will arrive at Pension Sonneck on the left.
Anreise mit der Bahn
Ab Salzburg – A10 Tauernautobahn – Autobahnabfahrt Bischofshofen/Sankt Johann im Pongau – bis Knoten Sankt Johann Süd, danach Richtung Alpendorf/Großarl, nach etwa 3 km Abzweigung Alpendorf.
Aus Richtung Wien – A1 West Autobahn in Richung Linz, St. Pölten, Pressbaum – wechseln Sie an der Anschlussstelle Knoten Salzburg von der A1 auf die A10 Richtung Graz, Villach – verlassen Sie die A10 an der Ausfahrt Bischofshofen / Sankt Johann – bis Knoten Sankt Johann Süd danach Richtung Alpendorf / Großarl, nach etwa 3 km Abzweigung Alpendorf.
